Role Responsibilities;
• Responsible for accuracy and completeness of all issued invoices especially in connection with CZ legislation and VAT
• Respond to issues and send out customer invoices
• Responsible for proper documentation related to each invoice
• Responsible for proper timing and application of revenue recognition rules. This currently entails a real-time review of each customer order and its terms for changes needed and determination of proper timing of revenue recognition
• Reconciles A/R to the G/L during book closing process and in case of any discrepancies is responsible for correction
• Cash application – allocation of received customer payments to relevant invoices
• Email communication with our clients regarding unallocated payments
• Maintain entrusted files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Participates on monthly closure and periodic accruals calculation
• Proactively reviews financial processes and works on their improvement
• Participation on work relating to external statutory audit What we need from you;
• Basic knowledge of accounting, Czech accounting standards and tax legislation, including VAT is an advantage • Previous experience in similar role is an advantage
• Native/Fluent Czech/Slovak speaker and well spoken level of English language skills (B2)
• Open, honest and direct with positive mindset
• Ability to focus under time pressure
• Detail oriented and precise, a high level of attention to detail
• Independent but also a team player
• Natural drive for development and self-improvement
• Good MS Office skills (Excel, Word)
• Experience with SAP is an advantage
