We are partnering with a world-renowned pharmaceutical company to recruit a Senior Procurement Category Manager for External Workforce. This is a strategic, high-visibility role that sits at the intersection of procurement, talent strategy, and workforce innovation.
Your Mission:
As the Category Lead for External Workforce, you will:
- Define and execute category strategies for contingent labor, consulting services, and outsourced workforce solutions across EMEA.
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and Finance to ensure workforce solutions are cost-effective, compliant, and future-ready.
- Lead supplier negotiations and performance management, driving value and innovation across the vendor landscape.
- Champion transformation by introducing new sourcing models, digital platforms, and diversity-focused initiatives.
Who You Are:
We welcome senior professionals from Procurement, HR, or Recruitment backgrounds who bring:
- 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, workforce management, or vendor strategy.
- Deep understanding of external workforce dynamics, including contingent labor, MSP/RPO models, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across senior leadership.
- Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Experience in a complex, international environment—pharma or life sciences experience is highly valued.
