We are currently looking for a General Ledger Accountant with Romanian. The company is expanding its finance operations in Prague and is seeking a professional who will support their growing regional activities within a collaborative, multicultural environment.
What you will be doing
- Preparing, reviewing, and posting journal entries for month-end close
- Performing GL reconciliations and supporting other month‑end activities
- Assisting with accounting tasks related to fixed assets, inventory, and materials — full training provided if these areas are new to you
- Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to accounting policies and internal controls
- Working closely with both local and global finance teams
- Supporting audit requests and internal control initiatives
What you bring
- 1–3 years of experience in General Ledger accounting
- Strong skills in journal entry preparation and reconciliations
- Experience with fixed assets or inventory accounting is a plus, not a requirement
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/US GAAP)
- Good command of Excel and experience with ERP systems
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and eager to grow in a fast‑paced environment
- Romanian language skills for communication
