Job Opportunity: General Ledger Accountant (Mid-Senior and Senior)


Are you an experienced General Ledger (GL) Accountant seeking a stable and routine-oriented position? Or maybe a more dynamic one with more responsibility and action! We have both! A fantastic opportunity for you to join our client's team!



About the Position:
We are looking for a dedicated professional with at least 3 years of comprehensive GL experience, including the preparation of financial reporting packages. This role involves repetitive tasks, making it perfect for someone who values consistency and is not looking for rapid career changes. We particularly encourage candidates returning from maternity leave who have strong GL accounting skills.
You will collaborate with our US-based entity, so excellent English proficiency is essential.



Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and communicate with tax advisors for VAT and CIT register preparation.
  • Ensure accurate accounting information by recording, verifying, and entering transactions such as bank entries, invoices, loans, etc.
  • Maintain accounts by verifying, posting, and reconciling transactions; address discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Manage monthly closing procedures.
  • Reconcile assigned accounts and perform daily GL activities.
  • Work closely with operations and business units to resolve GL-related issues.
  • Contribute to process improvements and internal controls.
  • Prepare corporate and statutory reports.
  • Adhere to company procedures and policies.
  • Provide information to stakeholders (clients, authorities, HQ) as needed.
  • Support regular audits.
  • Handle various ad-hoc tasks and projects as requested by the manager.
  • Act as a backup for assigned functions and perform other relevant tasks as needed.


Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of Accounting principles (IFRS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Experience with SAP or other accounting systems is a plus.
  • Advanced English skills.
