Your new role
As a Control Systems Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the integration, testing, and deployment of industrial control systems. You’ll work hands-on with PLCs, SCADA, and HMI technologies to ensure seamless operation of material handling and automation systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and executing integration and system-level test cases for control software.
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PLC/PC-based control systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff).
- Validating control logic, SCADA functions, and HMI interfaces.
- Supporting system commissioning and collaborating with test leads and engineers.
- Creating technical documentation and user guides for system workflows.
- Monitoring system performance and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll need to succeed
- Hands-on experience with PLCs and industrial automation systems.
- Familiarity with SCADA and HMI configuration and testing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware integration issues.
- Technical education in automation, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley RSLogix, or Beckhoff TwinCAT.
- Exposure to material handling or logistics automation systems.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
