One of the world's leading pharmaceutical manufacturers of herbal medicines, with over 90 years of experience producing highly effective and well-tolerated phytopharmaceutical products known in over 40 countries - and they are now looking to recruit a colleague to join them on a permanent (hybrid) position as:


Financial Controller


You will ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards and
regulations and provides strategic guidance to senior management on financial matters.


Your tasks
-Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance
with international accounting standards (IFRS) and local tax legislation
- Prepare an annual budgetary expenditure plan and monitor its implementation,
including monthly cost and performance monitoring, as well as variance analysis
- Creating ad-hoc analyses and reports for management
- Oversee and manage the overall accounting and finance functions of the company
- Work closely with external accounting services to handle accounting and payroll topics
and benefits’ administration;
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors
- Support the development and implementation of financial strategies
- Implement financial policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with internal and external financial guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to support business decisions
- Close cooperation with and reporting to the parent company with headquarter in
Germany
- Contact person for auditors and tax consultants


Your profile
- You have a higher education in Business Administration, Finance or comparable field of
study
- You have at least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting and controlling, ideally in
an international environment
- In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
- Strong analytical skills and a pronounced affinity for numbers
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems is an
advantage

You are a native Czech or Slovak speaker,
working smoothly in the international
business environment with very good verbal and written communication skills in
English; knowledge of German is a plus
