The agile cluster Digital Banking Solutions (DBS) delivers fast, client-focused Digital Banking products and services for all channels (online, mobile, branches and customer desk). One of these products is our Daily Banking which provides Daily Banking functionality and payment transactions for the Online Banking.

You will be responsible for: End to end handling of the performance testing, including:

• Analysis of performance testing requirements in collaboration with business experts and developers.
• Providing work product estimations based on performance testing requirements, as planning input for test and release management.
• Providing guidance and best practice approach for any upcoming and during performance test activity.
• Analysis of current load profiles in production (e. g. in DynaTrace, and trough log analysis) and deduction of appropriate test load profiles.
• Determination of test data requirements for performance test.
• Set-up of the technical performance test for each release, including design and scripting of load test scripts and workflows (in LoadRunner).
• Deployment of software components to the cloud performance testing environment.
• Test and execution of various performance test conditions per release depending on the release’s performance test goals, as well as subsequent collection and analysis of the test results.
• Documentation of test approach, results, and defects.
• Analysis of errors and logs from load runner and cloud.
• Provision of test results reporting.

We prefer candidates with:

• Minimum 5 years of job experience as a Performance Test Engineer.
• University degree in computer science and/or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Scrum framework and agile work techniques.
• Advanced understanding of statistical analysis, load and performance testing concepts, processes & best practices.
• Extensive experience with design & writing of technical test scripts.
• Experience with load, and performance testing tools such as HP QC/Loadrunner Suite.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Basic understanding of / experience with defect management, reporting, cloud computing (preferably cloud provider Azure) and tools such as Dynatrace, HP QC/Octane, JIRA, Confluence etc.
• Willingness to learn new skills/technologies.
• Good team player and work within a geographically distributed team.
• Good English communication skills - written and spoken. German is an added advantage.

Main skills:

• Load and performance testing concepts, processes, and tools (incl. design & writing of technical test scripts).
